Seeing the 90's trends coming back to life feels amazing being a 90's kid. Both high-end and high-street designers are bringing back memories of a simpler time, breathing new life in to old favourites.
The nineties inspired jeans today have been given a modern upgrade from wide/baggy legs to narrow/straight cuts. The ones I'm wearing are the Levis 501 C's which are my current favourites and have been wearing them almost everyday. I've even DIYed the jeans to a ripped hemline which is also one of the major trends this season.
The fanny pack/bum bag has its fair share of haters but it is one of the BIGGEST trends for Autumn/Winter'17. The one I'm carrying is from a vintage store in London. It's my favourite accessory at the moment. It's super convenient and looks pretty cool slung over your shoulder or proudly worn across your chest. Make sure you pick one in leather or may be good quality canvas and ONLY wear it with your casual outfits.
Old trainers are hitting hard this season and who doesn't remember the classic Converse that are meant to be worn dirty. It's time to forget the box-fresh fetishism and opt for a look that calls for a pair of bruised Converse.
So which one of these 90's trends will you sporting this season? Let me know in the comments below!
